Campaigns

Drip-feed SMM orders that stop at your spend limit

A drip-feed campaign spreads one order across days instead of delivering it all at once. On Prestoclick you set the total, the window and an optional spend limit. The campaign places each run for you, checks your credit before every one, and pauses instead of overspending.

Three kinds

Once, repeating, or drip

Every campaign targets one product and one link. Pick how its orders are timed.

Once

Place a single order at a chosen time.

Repeating

A recurrence rule, a timezone, quiet hours, and an end condition.

Drip

One total quantity split into chunks across the days you choose.

Drip runs can be split evenly, at random, or front-loaded so more arrives early. Sizes vary a little from run to run, so deliveries don't arrive like clockwork, and the same campaign always follows the same pattern. Repeating campaigns can skip or shift runs that fall in quiet hours you set.

An example

10,000 views over a week, capped at $75

These are settings you would choose yourself. The cost of each run depends on the product's price at the time it runs.

Each of the 28 runs checks your credit first. If the next run would take the total past $75, it is skipped and you are told. If your credit runs short, the campaign pauses and the rest of the schedule waits for you.

Total
10,000 views
Window
7 days
Runs
4 a day, 28 in all
Per run
about 357 views
Spend limit
$75 for the whole campaign

Safeguards

What stops a campaign from overspending?

  • Customer credit is checked before every scheduled placement.
  • Optional spend limits and a price-move policy bound each campaign.
  • Insufficient credit pauses a campaign instead of placing the next order.
  • An order we can't confirm reaching the provider is held for manual recovery, not silently retried.

What happens if I run out of credit?

Before every run, Prestoclick checks that your credit covers it. If it doesn't, that run is skipped, nothing is ordered, and the campaign pauses with the reason shown. Top up, then resume it. Runs that were due while it was paused are reported as missed, not fired all at once.

What if a run would go over my spend limit?

A run that would take the campaign's total spend past the limit you set is skipped, not placed, and you get an alert. The limit is a ceiling on what you pay, not a target.

What if the price changes?

You can set a highest price per 1,000 the campaign may pay. A run above it is skipped. If the price of the product your campaign uses goes up, the campaign pauses until you approve the new price. Approving never restarts it on its own.

What if an order can't be confirmed?

If we can't confirm that an order reached the provider, it is marked Under review and checked by hand. It is never silently retried, so it can't be bought twice. If it didn't go through, it is refunded in full as account credit.

For developers

Can I run campaigns from the API?

Yes. The native REST API creates, updates, pauses and resumes campaigns and lists their runs, with the same checks as the dashboard.

See the API documentation or the OpenAPI document. The PP-v2-compatible API places single orders only.

Set the limit once. Let the campaign do the ordering.
